Volunteer from Home
These service projects can all be done from home, over the course of a few hours, a few weeks or even an ongoing basis to benefit the animals and programs of San Diego Humane Society!
Do-It-Yourself Projects

Download our DIY packets and make enrichment items at home! If you require signed hours verification, please fill out the second page of the packet and bring it with you when dropping off the enrichment items. Make a Fitted Trap Cover for Community Cats
This PDF includes a sewing pattern for fitted cat traps that we could use for our Community Cat Program. These covers will reduce fear, anxiety and stress as the community cats are transported to our shelter to receive their vaccinations, spay/neuter and ear tip procedures, then are returned back to their communities of origin.
If you require more than 15 hours in a month, please apply to one of our regular onsite volunteer teams. Please email any questions to [email protected].
