Face-to-Face Fundraising

As part of our face-to-face fundraising efforts, you may encounter fundraisers representing San Diego Humane Society at public events, like local farmers markets, or going door-to-door in your neighborhood. These professionals are dedicated fundraisers managed by New Canvassing Experience.

  • They are wearing a teal shirt with San Diego Humane Society’s logo.
  • They have a badge with prominently displayed identification.
  • They have an electronic tablet to securely process donations.
  • They will use the term “Constant Companion,” which refers to San Diego Humane Society’s monthly donor program and is unique to our organization.
  • They will never ask for cash. Fundraisers are only permitted to accept monthly recurring gifts through our secure online donation form.
