Wildlife Help Hub
If you’ve found an injured, orphaned or sick wild animal, our Wildlife Help Hub is here to assist! If you have found a bird or mammal in need of assistance, please use our Self-Help Centers below. You’ll receive expert support to match your situation, including how to identify whether an animal needs help and detailed safe handling and drop-off instructions. Together, we can create a more humane San Diego for wildlife in need!
Project Wildlife Drop-Off Location
Please do not attempt to care for the animal yourself.
Do not offer food or water to the animal. Please contain them in a box with air holes or in a crate (covered with a pillowcase or sheet) and keep them in a dark, quiet room. Bring them to Project Wildlife or another wildlife drop-off location as soon as possible.
