More Humane: The Campaign for Animals invites animal lovers to make a life-changing impact for pets and wildlife through philanthropic giving to San Diego Humane Society. As San Diego County’s primary provider of services to homeless pets, at-risk wildlife and pet families in need, San Diego Humane Society is committed to keeping animals throughout our community safe — now and well into the future. At the same time, our innovative programs develop solutions to some of the most complicated challenges facing animal welfare across the country, creating a safer future for animals everywhere. Through More Humane: The Campaign for Animals, we will raise $250M to create a more humane world for animals and the people who love them.
Naming opportunities are available across our campuses (including in our brand new Adoptions Center at San Diego Campus) to celebrate your pets, loved ones or your passion for animals. SAVE the lives of vulnerable animals — companion and wild — while addressing the systemic issues that put animal lives at risk. We will ensure that no healthy or treatable shelter animal is euthanized in San Diego County now or ever, that every wild animal is given the best chance to return home and that we keep more animals out of shelters. BUILD by investing in infrastructure that protects our animals and welcomes our community. Updated facilities will provide animal housing that better reduces animal stress, limits spread of disease and improves efficiencies, all while creating a welcoming environment for community members across our campuses. While all five campuses provide opportunities to support infrastructure, the Escondido, Oceanside and San Diego Campuses present our most pressing needs. |
