Big Frank is waiting for his big break

Animal ID: 230499

Employee: BC Team

Life hasn’t been easy for this little guy. You see, Big Frank was rescued from a hoarding situation over a year ago, along with 77 of his dog friends. He was the shyest of all, and Big Frank is the very last one waiting to be adopted.

Our behavior team has spent a lot of time with this shrinking violet, and Big Frank has made a lot of progress in our care. We just know that there is someone out there who can see the sweet, silly, playful boy hidden beneath the shy exterior.

Here’s some more info about Big Frank, courtesy of his friends at our Behavior Center:

What do you like best about his personality?
“Big Frank is hilarious! Actually one of the funniest beings you’ll ever meet.”

What first drew you to your pick?
“He came to us from a hoarding situation (#78) and is the last one to be adopted.”

Is there something special about the way your pick looks?
“His posture! He holds his head and neck very upright which make him look very proper.”

What is his coolest/silliest/most unique trait?
“If BF wants to play and his doggie friends are sleeping, he will literally burrow under their bed and flip it to get them up!”

Anything else you’d like to add about your pick?
“Big Frank was the most scared of our #78 dogs but he has made SO much progress. He loves rough-housing with other small dogs, being in his crate and going on walks!”

Big Frank will need a home where he can receive continued positive reinforcement training and lots of patience. We also recommend that he go to a home with another social dog who can help lead the way by teaching him good habits and helping build his self confidence. If you are interested in opening up your heart and your home to this special boy, please call our San Diego Campus at (619) 299-7012 to arrange an introduction!
