San Diego Humane Society has been named a Top Workplace for a third year! The accolades are based entirely on feedback from employees, which makes receiving these honors even more special.
San Diego Humane Society is a nonprofit animal welfare organization with more than 600 employees across five campuses in San Diego County. Team members who participated in the confidential survey most common used the words dedicated, impactful, kind, empathetic and inclusive to describe the organization’s culture. “We are proud that the Culture of Care we strive so hard to cultivate in our interactions with animals, guests and each other was echoed in the responses by our staff,” said San Diego Humane Society Vice President of Employee Engagement Tina Nguyen. “We recognize that it’s been a challenging year, and are proud that they continue to show up to work every day and make the world a better place for animals.”
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
