PET Talk: Unleash Your Inner Muttgyver
Tips and Tricks for Pet First Aid
Pet Health and Safety Coach Arden Moore will unleash strategies to deal with pet emergency situations when a pet first aid kit is not handy or a veterinary clinic is not nearby. Moore, with the help of Pet Safety Dog Kona and Pet Safety Cat Casey, will demonstrate how to use everyday items like spare poop bags, shoelaces, water bottles and other items to safely stabilize an injured pet and immobilize them to be transported to the nearest veterinary clinic for medical care. She will also hone your “pet detective” skills to look for behavior clues to properly deduce the pet’s emotional state to keep you safe and to spot early warning signs of illness. All of this is part of Moore’s “Mutt-gyver” program she shares with pet professionals all over the country to arm them with knowledge and know-how to handle pets safely. All those who attend will receive handouts via download at the end of the class.
