Emergency Response Team Horse Rescue
San Diego Humane Society is an essential service provider during this COVID-19 pandemic. When animals need our help, we’re there for them - no matter what else is going on in the world.
Last night, our Emergency Response Team was called out to Guatay to help rescue Tucson, a horse who had been stuck in a deep, muddy hole for two hours. Using rope rescue techniques, the Emergency Response Team was able to free Tucson from the hole.
He was treated for minor injuries and dehydration, and is expected to make a full recovery.
