Get Your Group in Gear to Volunteer
Keeping San Diego’s animals safe, healthy and happy is a big task—and everyone can put their paws to work! Along with individuals, a limited number of corporate groups from around five to 20 participants can volunteer to help out at San Diego Humane Society. Groups from Sony, Intuit, Eli Lilly, Genentech and San Diego State University are among those who’ve gotten involved to strengthen their own teams while furthering SDHS's mission to inspire compassion.
SDHS offers opportunities at all three campuses as well as off-site. Help add fresh coats of paint to the facilities. Interact with small animals to brighten their day. Bag pet food for low-income families. Plan a de-stressing activity using pet-assisted therapy, or get wild with animal ambassadors from Project Wildlife.
That’s just the beginning. Your squad can also organize a fundraiser or solicit donations of items from SDHS’s Amazon Wish Lists.
There’s no shortage of ways to help. Read up on sdhumane.org and get in touch to find out more.
