Stacey Zeitlin

Vice President, Community Impact Impact
Stacey Zeitlin, MAT, is the Vice President of Community Impact at San Diego Humane Society. She has been with the organization since 2002 and oversees the organization’s Resource Center and Community and Volunteer Engagement Departments. Stacey holds a multiple-subject teaching credential for the state of California, as well as a certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of San Diego, a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder and a master's in teaching with a focus on humane and character education from Webster University. She serves as a board advisor to the Association of Professional Humane Educators, participates on various committees for The Association of Animal Welfare Advancement and is a Vice President for The Latham Foundation.
Stacey shares her home with her husband and two cats that she found orphaned along with their sibling. After fostering the three found kittens, they decided to keep Bachman and Marri, since they were shyer than their sister, Daysi, who was easy to find an adopter for. The kittens were all named after the road (Bachman Place) and hotels (Marriott and Days Inn) where they were found.
