It will serve as a teaching hospital for advancing this emerging practice and molding shelter veterinarians of tomorrow. Expansion of the veterinary hospital at San Diego Humane Society’s San Diego Campus is vital to accommodate 40,000 companion animals the organization now cares for each year.
